Quentin says “Languedoc-Roussillon often seems like a jack of all trades wine region that has a reputation more for quantity than quality. In fact, so varied are the wines from region, that they always put me in mind of the line in Forrest Gump about “being like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get”.
Well after the tasting perhaps we will all know a little more what we are going to get as we will try a wide range of styles, grape varieties are appellations. Everything you expect will be there plus a whole lot more. Sparkling wine, crisp whites, rich whites, silky, elegant reds, powerful, spicy reds and sweet wines will all be in the line up. Some of the wines will be exactly what you expect from Languedoc, others could well surprise you.”
